These Terms of Service apply to UpQuote, a word puzzle game provided by Red Brilliance LLC. By downloading or using UpQuote, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
If you download UpQuote from the Apple App Store, your download and use of the app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement where applicable.
UpQuote does not have its own account system. Purchases, Restore Purchases, Game Center, Play Games, and cloud progress sync are platform features, and each requires the relevant Apple or Google account.
UpQuote offers optional quote-pack purchases. Pack purchases are one-time, non-consumable digital purchases that unlock access to the purchased pack in UpQuote for the store account that bought them. UpQuote does not offer subscriptions.
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play billing. The app uses RevenueCat to confirm and restore purchase entitlements. Red Brilliance does not process payment cards directly.
UpQuote refreshes purchases automatically. If a pack is missing, you can use Restore Purchases in UpQuote Settings to ask the store and RevenueCat to refresh your owned packs. Purchases are tied to the Apple or Google account used to buy them, so restore requires the same store account.
Refunds are handled through the store where the purchase was made. See Apple's refund instructions or Google Play refund instructions.
When cloud progress sync is enabled, UpQuote backs up progress through Apple Game Center or Google Play Games Services. Cloud sync is a convenience feature for restoring and merging progress across your own devices. Red Brilliance cannot guarantee that platform cloud services will always be available, uninterrupted, or able to recover every local change.
You may use UpQuote for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt to bypass purchases, or use the app in a way that violates applicable law or store policies.
UpQuote's software, design, artwork, pack organization, and Red Brilliance branding belong to Red Brilliance LLC or its licensors. Quotes and other third-party content remain the property of their respective owners where applicable. These terms do not transfer ownership of UpQuote or its content to you.
UpQuote is provided as-is and may change over time. We may update, pause, or discontinue features, content, or store availability. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under consumer protection laws that apply to you.
If we update these terms, the revised version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of UpQuote after an update means you accept the revised terms.
